handshake Victory Fellowship is located in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Lonnie Parton has pastored Victory Fellowship Church since 1985. We are desperately seeking the manifest presence of Jesus to transform God's people and our region. Victory Fellowship is committed to making 2 Chronicles 7:14 a lifestyle, "if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, I will forgive their sins and I will heal their land".

In 2004 God moved on the leadership of the church to make a radical change from being a program driven church to a presence based church. For more information on this dramatic change click "Pastor's Book" and you can read how this transpired. Victory Fellowship is a leader in the region to promote the values of 2 Chronicles 7:14 and to see Presence-based Transformation.

We invite you to join with us on Sunday. Each service is intentionally designed with a focus on Jesus in worship and the ministry of the Word. You will have an opportunity to respond to an altar call during the service. Please feel free to do so.

Bluffs Acres Ministry News - VBS begins July 7

Bluffs Acres Ministry News
July 7-11 at the Destiny Center in Bluffs Acres. Lighthouse Temple is organizing this event, but they need 3-4 helpers. If you can help any or all of these days between the hours of 1-1:30, please see Emily Baker.

Testimonies are coming in from Bluffs Acres of what the Lord is doing! We are iin need of about 4-5 adults who would be willing to disciple new Christians (currently, about 8 adults have committed their lives to the Lord!). We are also beginning a Wednesday evening kids night. If you would like to help, please see or for more information.

Prayer Over the Air

Every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:45 am tune in to hear Lonnie Parton and James Patterson as they pray over the city on KGBI 100.7 FM with host September Turner.

Monthly Fellowship Dinners

Now that the kitchen is finished, we will resume with our monthly fellowship lunches. Next one is scheduled on Sunday, July 12. See ya' there!

Summer Fusion Transformation Gathering

July 17 & 18 with Fusion Ministry, Fijian leaders and pastors from Council Bluffs at First Assembly of God. Register at Fusion Ministry. Cost is $45 per person before July 10 or $55 per person thereafter.

School of the Holy Spirit

Every third Friday of each month, The Dwelling Place teaches about prophetic ministry and other spiritual gifts in a teaching-style setting. Event are held at 1001 Fort Crook Road in Bellevue (Southroads Mall). Call Pastor Eric Murray at 402-932-2996 for times and details.

Cell Groups

Family cell group will be held the 1st and 3rd Sundays at 5pm at Marvin and Betty Munyon's (15188 Pinecrest Dr., CB). Call 712-256-6133 for more details.

Christian Education

Christian Education is on Wednesday nights from 7 - 8:30pm. Classes for all ages - teens meet in the sanctuary, children in the children's sanctuary, and adults in the administration building.

KidzConnect

Sunday morning ministry is available for children ages 12 and under. Nursery is available during the entire service for ages infant to 5 years old. Children ages 5 to 12 will be dismissed after worship to their own service in the KidzConnect santuary at the west end of the building.
Our KidzConnect teachers are: Kevin & Cheryl Barton, Tracey Michaels, and Megan Sivard.
Volunteers are needed to help lead teachers in KidzConnect - qualified volunteers see Teresa Nichols. Background check will be required. Volunteers are also needed to serve at Sign-in table.

Ignite Youth Church

Ignite Youth group for ages 13-19 meets every Wednesday at 7:00 - 8:30pm in the youth room.
