Welcome to Victory Fellowship Ministries
handshake
Victory Fellowship is located in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Lonnie Parton has pastored Victory Fellowship Church since 1985. We are desperately seeking the manifest presence of Jesus to transform God's people and our region. Victory Fellowship is committed to making 2 Chronicles 7:14 a lifestyle, "if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, I will forgive their sins and I will heal their land".
We invite you to join with us on Sunday. Each service is intentionally designed with a focus on Jesus in worship and the ministry of the Word. You will have an opportunity to respond to an altar call during the service. Please feel free to do so.

cd CDs of the morning's worship service are available following the service. CDs are $5.00 each. See Scott Maskell.

mp3 icon Sermons are now available online. Go to VictorySounds and listen to an compressed mp3 version of the message online or download them.

Marketplace Prayer

You are a living epistle from Christ known and reas by everybody; so pray that ths Holy Spirit will write the truth of God on your heart so that you can minister life to others (2 Cor. 3:2-6).

Personalize and pray the following scriptures:
"This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put my laws in their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying, 'Know the Lord,' because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest. For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more" (Hebrews 8:10-12).
"I desire to do your will, O my God; your law is within my heart." I proclaim righteousness in the great assembly; I do not seal my lips, as you know, O Lord. I do not hide your righteousness in my heart; I speak of your faithfulness and salvation. I do not conceal your love and your truth from the great assembly. Do not withhold your mercy from me, O Lord; may your love and your truth always protect me." (Psalm 40:8-11).

WE HAVE A NEW PRESIDENT!

Now What? For all intents and purposes our goals remain the same. PRAY!

1. The decisions made by leaders influence large numbers of people in very major ways. Pray for God's guidance in these decisions.
2. They are ordinary men placed in extraordinary positions of responsibilities. They need Godly wisdom and strength to tackle these problems.
3. Leaders are faced with dangers that others are less likely to encounter. For example, they are targets of envy, slander and unfair criticism. If they are doing a good job, they also become prime targets of Satan - who hates to see men blessed by good government.
4. Finally, and the most important thing we need to do is pray for their salvation.

Prayer can take care of all these because "the king's heart is in the hand of the LORD as the rivers of water, he turneth it whithersoever he will" (Proverbs 21: 1).
